They will experience the “scaffolded” STAAR prompt, Pep Rallies, use manipulatives, and walk away with manipulatives to help them score “4”s!  

 

 

 

Text Box: “3,2,1 – ACTION!” EXPOSITORY Student Inservice Writing CAMP (September, October, November, or December) Students will make a manipulative, play games, do activities, and experience seven “Read, Think, Write” STAAR Expository Prompts.  They will learn strategies for developing their expository paper. Pep Rallies will be sprinkled in!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Text Box: STAAR Narrative Just in Time 2012 Student Inservice Writing CAMP  (January, February, or March) Your students will experience state-of-the-art graphics (visuals for the brain) and unique manipulatives (tactile-Kinesthetics for the brain) that teach everything the new STAAR test will assess, as well as how to make “4”s.  They will walk away with their own manipulative and will have an understanding of the new depth of writing required-and how to do it!  This insightful CAMP also includes mini-Pep Rallies!  

 

 

 

Text Box: STAAR Expository Just in Time Inservice Writing CAMP ( January, February, or March) Your students will do new, and exciting activities that emphasizes: how to address expository prompts, how to add development, as well as variety to your explain paper, and how to get “4”s.  They will experience eight Read, Think, Write prompts!  Pep Rallies will be sprinkled throughout the CAMP. Every minute will be spent in engaging activities that ready your students for success in life, in college or career, and on the STAAR test!!!!
